If it looks like a 1.2 inside then it's a cup. The standard car has half leather etc. Also the cup has no headrests in the back. Cups should have "Cup" on the door pilar but for some reason lots of them don't (mine doesn't).
I have mixed feelings on it as well, had a test drive from a stealers and then round brands and cadwell park. It's a bigger car but it will out corner a 182 all day. The brakes are a big step up as well. The steering is very light yes, but it is much more precise. The real weak point is the...
Main differences...
Cup has basic interior, no xenons, air con instead of climate, cheaper stereo, no autowipers or heat reflective windscreen. This saves about 20kgs, so apparently slightly quicker to 60 but in practical terms I doubt it makes much difference. It still has cruise/traction/abs...
I have Easynews and a Giganews account. I find Easynews isn't very fast to be honest. Try changing your route in the route selector to see if you can get better. You can also try other ports other than the default. Giganews on the other hand gives me a full 10 meg everytime.
Yep, I can vouch for projectors, had my Sanyo Z3 for nearly 2 years now (720p). Unbeatable for home cinema and looks so good with HD content. I've just been watching some Planet Earth in HD and it was awesome. The bigger screen size really brings out the difference between DVD and HD content, it...
I've been getting HD material off the groups for nearly 2 years now. Check out this forum for some good stuff:

This is why I have 5 320GB hard drives that are now full ;) If you used regular dual layer DVDs, most movies would be 2 discs.
Hmmm £15,000  Mine will be 2 years old in march, cost me about £1200 at the time. They were going for £600-£700 with free extra bulb right before they stopped making that model.
My desk...
21" CRT and 77" HD Projection screen (connected to PC). I like to keep things as uncluttered as possible. Although loads of pizza boxes and beer bottles had somehow accumulated there on saturday night.
Screen in action (HD Terminator 3  )
What I heard was that american drives are region free. The rest of us still have region coding. Don't know if this is true or not as I've not really looked into it much :S
Is the modem connected via USB? I'm guessing, but maybe if you have left the PC idle for a time, then maybe it goes into standby? Maybe this causes the connection to drop?
I've sold a few by advertising in the supermarkets. I can't be arsed having lots of beige boxes sitting around the place so I try to have only one PC at a time. Sold a 1.3ghz/384mb PC with screen etc all set up for £100 recently no problems, had people phoning after it was gone as well. You can...
My tupence...
TBs on a Clio sounds nice....but remember you are basically throwing away your money. It won't add much if anything to the resale price. A V6 on the other hand will retain some of it's value. So you would have to REALLY want to TB the clio.
Why do you want a performance...
Most amps have discrete 6 or 7 channel input for attaching external decoders. So if you manage to get an x-box 360 drive to work on your PC, your PC should be able to decode HD audio and feed it to the amp via the analogue outputs.
After I took the 197 for a test drive at the dealers, I felt kind of dissapointed. But now I've had one round cadwell and brands (twice), I have to say it has grown on me a lot. It's better than my 182 in almost every way, if only it had a little more poke. The handling is just awesome, the...
I have 10 meg NTL and it's great! Been with them for years and there's hardly ever been any faults. I've always acheived the speed I've paid for. Granted their customer service is crap, but I've not really had to phone them thankfully.
I also hear 25 meg will be along shortly for 10 meg...
I had a look at using it as a potential knowledge base for work. It looks very clever, but I found it a bit OTT. Plus I thought the documentation was bit all over the place and incoherent, I found myself going round in circles with it. I suspect if you spent some time with it you could get some...
I don't have sky HD but I have a few captures from it. The quality is excellent, it uses the h264 codec with a bit rate of around 18mbps. By comparison, most HD stations in the US use mpeg2 at 10-14mbps and are clearly inferior. The BBC are currently trialing 20mbps high definition using h264...
Saving Private Ryan is good.....but Gladiator is better ;) It's THE best DTS track ever created, bar none! It's what they call "reference standard". Try out the opening battle......:hail:
Try this (backup your registry first!). Open regedit, go to the following key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Explorer\Shell Folders
Here you can change the location of common windows folders. "Personal" is my documents, you should be able to edit this key and...
There are people capturing Sky over the HDMI interface but I have no idea how they are doing it. The only other way is to use the analogue output with some sort of capture card, but you lose quality in the process. I use a D-box to capture digital cable. It can record the transport stream direct...
I would boot off the XP CD and go to the recovery console. From there you should be able to restore a copy of ntfs.sys. I would try this first before attempting a repair etc.
