Find out the native res of your TV, then set that res in windows. I also had to set up my projector because it was overscanning by 10% so I lost the 1:1 mapping. I didn't have to fiddle with any drivers or anything since windows just sees it as a standard monitor, not a TV.

You've almost certainly got the bus speed set wrong. Sounds like you're running 12.5*100 when you should be running 12.5*133. Have a look in the bios. I would say you defo need more memory if you only have 256, might as well bump it to a gig at todays prices.

The dbox is somewhat old now, they stopped making them a while back. You might want to look at the dreambox which is a newer and more capable device. Dbox will still do what you want though ;) You can lots of other cool stuff with them as well, they are very flexible. Have a read here...

^^ agree with above, PHP is what you want. Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP is the natural combination but it will also run happily on windows should you wish to do so. Great community support and lots of freebies make it attractive as well.

Have a look to see if you have spdif output on the PC. It will either be an optical or coax connection, that's your best bet if you have a home theatre setup.
