BenR - have you driven a K20 Elise/Exige? The idle inside the car is a vibrating drone which goes right through you. Idle on the Exige Rover K series makes the car move its so lumpy :evil:

The new MLS gasket is the choice for elises gav, the payen I chose is meant to be better for the VHPD K series
Never got round to updating this thread so here is some pics-
Got the head back, all 16 shims were wrong size, all changed, some porting has been done to the head.
New Payen head asket fitted to try avoid failure in the future

Ive been on track with tuscan in my S1 exige and was not a lot difference in the straights, corners were laughable though.
Also a tamora race car when I was driving the Honda Elise I wasever so slightly faster on the straights, game over in the corners.
