    Tesco insurance shocker (£less)

After sl*gging off Tesco in a thread earlier this month, I was amazed to get my renewal through the post this week. Last year it was £509, and this year they want £446! I had max NCB already, so it wasnt that. Amazing, a price reduction, and I didnt even ask!

    Speedo calibration & 17 s

There was a thread about this a while ago - concerning the fact that fitting 17"s would throw the speedo out by a few mph. So I did some careful tests yesterday using the Origin B2 as a measure. I assume the Origin is accurate :) The speedo on my car still over-reads even with the 17"s fitted...

    172 had a sunroof

Parked in the cold and frosty weather outside the pub last night, my car attracted a coating of frost. On the roof I could clearly see the shape of a sunroof. So. Do the bodyshells come with a hole for the sunroof as standard? NB - if you know the answer to this I suggest that you try to get...

    Soft-top restorer (Zymol)

Slightly OT (but there might be a soft-top Clio someday!) The soft-top on our Megane is beginning to show its age - some areas are not really black anymore where it folds, and the rear screen isnt as see-through as it once was. Ive heard there is a kit that contains all the goodies you need to...
