Fair enough mate. Might give it a go myself, probably easier to chuck it on my pit and take the engine out and do it that way :D

I have got tools, just not the renault ones. surely if you can lock the cams another way it should be fine

Right, i know this is going to be a nasty job but i am trying to save spending £700 odd at ktec for them to do it. Realistically how hard is this, and do you really need 'special' tools to lock the cams ect? thanks, Zak

ah right, we have had the ECU out a month ago and the car has been sat so it should just come straight out. is the one in the car a ball ache to get out? the UMC i think?

I have got lots of tools so that bit doesnt worry me. you think 1 hour to swap the lot?

So i am looking to swap out all my old 182 stuff and fit new ECU, UHC, and igniton barrel and clocks off another 182 as mine has stopped working. Has anyone done this and how long does it take to swap it all out? Thanks Zak

Nice one buddy, yeah i love track days. Use my uncles elise before but now i got the 182 i use that. Solid top mounts yes i was thinking that might bring it parallel then on the rear. Was thinking toyo proxies t1r or conti contact sport 2

No it was a good answer, i like to do track days...just got the sportline springs and then was going to do whiteline rear ARB get some proxies on it and then play with alighment. What do people set the camber and toe at ect?

just bought some ATE very cheap and worth the money, i am also using KTR braided hoses, should make the brakes a lot better.

There are probably lots of threads on here but i was wondering is anyone having a little misfire/idle problem. would it be coil pack or HT leads? what is the most common thing to go, or do all 182's do it. Thanks

what you changed all the fuses and now it is all working, I somehow think that it might be a little more serious in my case
