182 heater unit

I picked my 182 up a month ago and the heater is broken (climate control digital display).

The display does not light up when the car is on, but when you bridge the connector for the resistor under the bonnet the fan blows at full speed. does anyone know why my unit won't power on and has this happened to anyone.

You'll need to change the resistor buddy. Unsure to why the display won't light up though :s.
