What would be a better combination with yellow koni shocks:
Eibach Proline or Sportline springs?
How low do each of them go? Which would you reccomend?
I measured with the tape from the ground/bottom of the wheel to the arch liner and it is 62cm - so how low can i go without to have any issues...
i thought of buying some raceland coilovers, i just wanna get the car lower (i have 16" whells)....i don't use the car for track.
so you say they are ok? they are not to stiff or too bouncy?
Hi, is 54mm hole spacing between the bolt hole centres at the bottom of the front shock absorbers ok for ph1 172?
Are standard top mounts ok or do i need the uprated ones?

1. Eibach Pro system (shock+spring set 30mm)
or
2. Eibach Sport system (shock+spring set 45-50mm)
I've only found it for models 1.4, 1.4 16V, 1.6, 1.5 dCi, 1.9 D, 1.9 dTi.
Are there no sets for 2.0?
hello, just one question to solve this dillema -
1. are 182 anthracite cup wheels going on a ph1 172 (and how does it look like), tyre 195/45/16?
182 cup-et45, ph1 172-et43
any picture, experience fitting etc...
i'm putting tomorrow on my ph1 172 the 182 cup wheels, and i'm going to put 20mm spacers per wheel (so its going to be a 40mm wider track).
the ph1 172 et is 43 and the 182 cup 45, correct?
will it be too much or not?

i've put the spacers today. it's perfect the wheels sit just right by the arches...now the only thing - could it be that the steering is a little harder because of the spacers? do they in any way affect the steering?
i have the antracite alloys from the 182 cup model and without the spacer the wheel is too much in.
so i was only considered if there are any bad sides of 2 cm spacers
I thought to put 2 cm spacers on all four wheels (195/45/16)...now will there be any improvement or not? is there any downside of putting spacers?
so basically any info by guys who have them on their 172

ok fred what else would be fine to put...i tought to remove just the upper part (because it's in bad condition) of the shield, the aluminium shield on the manifold stays
