yep i got it now. all seems to check out ok. think it needs a service just to get her running perfectly, but no problems. where the front wheel had a new tyre the bolts were all loose though, which was a little worrying!

Just picked mine up for £3300 (was up for £3600), 63k, needs belts doing and a good attack with a machine polisher, but she drives very nicely so I'm pretty happy

comes up as a cup on an HPI, on V5 and has everything a cup should have (badges,turinis,interior,no AC, no spare etc). Being sold by a woman but her husband said he was sure it has ABS as 'if he stamped on the brakes they didn't lock up' it all seems to check out ok i think, just wondering...

Right, looks like I found me a car. 2003 (03) 172 cup, 63k, needs belts doing, very tidy otherwise. Apparently has ABS (was this an option?), but is up for £3500. will most likely haggle on it, but does it sound kosher? ed

brentacre came back with a good quote this morning, so i'm gonna run the car standard through til january when my renewal is due, then go with them. gives me time to get used to the car too ed

Not a huge fan of tints, especially on a sporty car like a 172. work well on saloons and big cars, but not on hatchbacks ed

those are quite nice have a look at Rota wheels. I know they're jap, but some of them are uber-light!

Not on clios, but have always had good results from panel filters over induction kits and will prob go for a panel filter when i get a cup
