Right, so i've managed to split the headlight! Its a PITA of a job, and i'd strongly advise wearing heat-proof gloves. but success was achieved! a pic of the finished item! ed

the part in your pic? yeah that'd be the subframe. the measurements i took were the distance width wise from one seat mounting to the other on the chassis rail (factory seat mounting points) ed

I have a spare 182 seat in the back of the car. i'll go measure it Edit: measuring from bolt to bolt its 51cm wide

the clio mounting points dont make up a perfect square i dont think. the side that would sit in the centre of the car has the mounting points a little further forward than the door side. width wise i dont know though ed

Hi all, need to separate the lens from the rest of the unit. is it a case of heating the sealant up to a hot enough level to prose it open, or is there another way? any help much appreciated ed
