how does the ph1 172 cope with the added load of having aircon switched on at idle? will it automatically sense the increased load and adjust the idle accordingly? or is there some ECU trickery to keep it running right?

I'm trying to order a clutch release fork and bearing (and the extension bracket + bolt which goes on to the gearbox). At Renault its coming up with 2 different part numbers for the fork... can't decide which is correct and I've tried a few 172 (ph1) registrations which either don't show up...

I have a few questions about the mk2 aircon system :quiet: I know how aircon works etc... but I'm not sure how it mixes with the conventional heater matrix? It's my understanding that you can have the aircon switched on and have hot and cold air? (dehumidified) how does this work...

Is there any difference in 172 ph1/ph2 and 182 engines i.e. do they all use the same gearbox (or atleast the same mountings)? what about the loom? also, do these blocks have senders for oil pressure and temp?
