Does anyone knows the difference in total length between the single lambda and twin lambda versions of the ph1 cat?
My diy effort is single lambda, my fitted cat is twin lambda. So i need to buy a repair section with a lambda boss and get that welded in to the correct length.
Anyone?
Im in the process of making a home made decat. So far ive hacked the ends off a ph1 twin barrel cat and removed its guts.
Will a scrappy accept it if its not the complete cat? ive literally got half a carrier bag of honeycomb chunks id like to weigh in next week.
Also I was toying with the...

Big lump of money but may be what you need, providing it meets your event regs.
Edit. From your pics its looks like the software versions maybe be diff. Your orriginal ecu says v4.x (cant see the rest) and your new unit says. V5.6.
Id say the new unit isnt compatible with your car for whatever reason.
I think it may contribute. Im not really up on renualts ecu production codes. But i would replace like for like. Same year if possible. Are there any manufacturer dates you can compare between the two units?.
Have a think also about the solution i pm'd you.
In F&F world, a milk float would out drag the cops aslong as Walker was behind the wheel.
Tints + Zorst + Sparco steering wheel = +150bhp

You can buy black insert angel eyes.
Not oem but another option. They are about 135 from quick googling.

Ive seen new oem/oem copies on ebay selling for nearly 100 quid a...
Ouch.!! Thats a sh1tty piece of luck there.
Good to see a plan in place to fix it.
Have you seen/heard of many f4rs doing this? How many rpm where you doing when that happened. Can you recall?
My mistake, i should have said every few years.
From what info I have read previously on here, Im lead to believe the general consensus is there are no recommended intervals. Just that the gas pressure is lost over time depending on how much hammer they take. If it was being used in its...
Trophy all the way.

Downsides being refurbing the sachs dampers every year (££££)
But could be a useful bargaining point when purchasing to get money off.
Its 100yrds dead ahead from the paddock entrance gate. Near side entrance to the Melbourne loop. Couple of racing trucks there too. Inc one with a shedload of snatch and lock stock airbrushing.
You cant miss the cars. Theres a massive RS marquee at the side of them.
looks very smart @boomerbang2006
I noticed 2 172 cups, a 182 and a trophy today. Plus a couple of silver 197s. One had travelled from holland, judging by the reg

I, sadly, was driving the gfs focus 1.6 style... :weary:

Best bang for buck id say if you want to stick with the k4m engine.
Alternatively.. are your belts due anytime soon?
You could fit cams at the same time and save some pennies on labour.
