Dont they stop making more power around that rpm? Most peoples rolling roads graphs on standard cars show a little dip around that rpm. More power? Shift up?

I doubt there is updated maps available unfortunatly. have you considered fitting a tablet behind the oem satnav fascia? Modern satnav and oem looks. :)

I think your best option would be to see a bodyshop and their colour charts. Alternatively, try your local decorating centre. They should have a RAL card you can take away.

My handles were grubby and sticky. Like some one had wrapped and removed it previously. Baby wipes worked to make the surface clean again. But it took ages.. if your painting you could sand it off I suppose. a bath in solvent might work but unsure how it may affect the plastic afterwards.

the hole next to the throttle body is also filled with the gunky oil (is this the pcv valve?) If it ran nicely after cleaning this. Is it not possible it has gunked up again? Im no mechanic by all means but id look at that again.

id say its getting too much fuel at idle. id also be tempted to inspect the o2 sensor. Perhaps its giving an incorrect reading and the car is adjusting the fuel to match. has your overall mpg gone down recently?
