May be for the US-Market where cars only have to fast on straight road...
Additional Batteries always mean more weight, also lipos are pretty heavy. For me tuning is to reduce weight and not to increase. I want to have a good handling, too.
They shall show a flow chart like e.g. Rotrex...
I wrote an email to renault sport some years ago with this questions and got an answer.
"Oliver,
AS enhenced the Renault K4M engine is, to tune it from 110 HP to 220 HP is a big challenge !!
The FIA regulation on the S1600 categorie concerning the engine relies on the following...
A lot of things, cams, air-duct, bigger throttle, 4-2-1 manifold, 200 cell, 60mm exhaust system, re-map ....
But the engine is in a ClioI shell....;)

Hello,
perhaps someone here can help me. I´m looking for a official power/torque diagram of a Renault Twingo 133, but I can´t find anywhere....please help.:o
Thanks and best regards.
Oliver
I meant that double ignition of the stock ECU that often leads to back fire, or do you use something totally diffrent like supersquirt or so?
How do you think you destroyed the lambda sensor, by excessive heat cause of misfire??
Fastchip in the Netherlands is a good adress for turbo conversions that keep on using the original Sirius32 / 34 ECUs.

They did the ECU basic programming (the fine tuning can be done by the RS-tuner) for the ClioA Turbo of a friend. It has the block of the "low...
What about simply use the injektors of the F4P / F4R engines? They have a bigger static flow and should fit also from the injection angle, maybe only the low end fuel mass might be little too big.
Hmm, the F-block has 89mm cylinder spacing, the k-block 85mm...
I don´t think that the flange seals properly afterwards.
I did something similar, but I weldet a completly new k4m-specific flange to it...
I think then you will need a JC5-RS gearbox because the JB3 won´t fit over the 215mm clutch....but why, I allways thougt the K4M-engine has a ordinary 200mm clutch like the the valver and the R5 GTT had, and for them you can get lots....
Nice conversion, but I´d like to have a better view of the exhaust manifold. Is it casted, oder welded? Or is it the OEM flange with a plenum welded on the flange?
The hood scoop is from a R19 16V phaseII.
since the manifold modification I havn´t done anything to the car.
I was only on a renault meeting in austria last week (http://www.weinbergtour.com/), where I did a small hill climb...

Hello,
does somebody have a picture of an deinstalled Ph.2 172 or 182 air-box (panel filter), in which I can see where the brackets and mounts of the air-box are located?
Or maybe a picture with a small cone-filter there should it be possible to see, too.
Thanks in adavance.
Best...
What I wanted to do already a year ago, I did yesterday with help of some frieds.
Kicking ass of the old 4in1 Supersprint exhaust-maniflod ...
and replacing it by a 4in2in1....
Thanks to Peter who did all the welding stuff.
The base was also a Supersprint exhaust-manifold, but...
They don´t have a panel filter, they have a round one.
for example k&n´s E-9238:

or Green R322335,
