The tread is still pretty deep. They have done 60,000 miles (80% motorway). You can see on the photos attached, that little cracks are appearing on the rim of the wheels as the tyres keep going down, I have to pump them up once a week, sometimes twice.
Our water is soft. I usually use ready used screen wash so it might be from that. I don't know, i'll try the vinigar suggestion at the weekend. I hope it works as its looks crap.
How can I clean it, i've not tried yet, but they look stained due to the washers. Hopefully it will just wipe off, but knowing my luck it will be scratched. Pic below.
I bought the bluevision ones and they were just yellow like the standard sidelights Renault put in the clio. Anyway I went to ebay and found a set of LED lights and they are quality, the match the xenon's lights I'm very happy.
Took some photos of the LED sidelights, they good nice...
Horns!!!
My horn has stopped working. Well one of them has, do clios have a double horn as somtimes it sounds as it should do, with two tones of the horn, but now its just sounds like a single horn which sounds high pitched.
Are there any decent horns out there, that I can buy.
Well i've missed one service and it goes out of warranty in 2000 miles. The missing of a service would probably void the warranty me thinks.
It stops accelerating worst when the car has just started, when its cold.
oh winner, that will probably cost more money.
I've got it going into a service next Saturday in Portsmouth with Rentech hopefully Mike can find something thats wrong with it. I just hope its not expensive as the service is £150. I'll be proper skint if its more as I've got loads of debts I'm...
I bought some Tesco 99ron and I added some redex to clean the engine but its still doing it. Also yesterday whilst waiting in the que for KFC my emmisions light started flashing.
hmm, its a weird one, so is it a coincidence that my brothers Megane 225 and My clio 182 were working fine before we put the petrol in the cars, from the same petrol station. Its a bit suspicious, my brothers going to ring Morrisons Petrol station up and ask if any one else has had problems sin...
I think its just a bad batch of fuel, yesterday I accellerated from standstill and put my foot right down and it went for a bit then in 2nd gear it just stopped accelerating and stayed at the same speed for 3 seconds, could it be possible that something is sticking?
Well the cars been fine this weekend. 95 ron is fine for the car. I used to run it on 97 and then tescos 99ron but went back to Morissons 95. Its just weird that both his Migane and my Clio suddenly started behaving like this over the weekend.
