Haven't heard about any of the 200's making low figures, obviously it's a comparitive figure on the day but on comparison there have been 3 reports on here about 200's making good power (around quoted output) - It's rare to see the same reported from the previous Clios.
Just going on threads...
No evidence of any fix and every motoring journalist and independent has found the same.... Perhaps the Clio 200 actually makes its quoted power, unlike the 182 - This coupled with the improved handling make it slightly quicker around a track. Simple really
Who gives a crap about diluting the brand, it's not infringing a copyright and those that have been to the ring can choose whether or not they display a sticker that 99.9% of the population know nothing about and assume is a paint defect....:D
I admit the calculation for losses seems very high, when my S2000 was RR'd that made 190whp which calculated to 232bhp at fly, this is RWD and only works out 18% loss. FWD should be less, although I know nothing on the calculation used or the type of rollers etc Best thing is comparison against...
:star: Not half wrong there Gorms... I wish the motoring press would stop bigging up our motors, we can secretly enjoy our significantly more powerful ugly cars more then :D
That's the third RR result I have seen where a Clio 200 has made book power, it seems to me that renault have adjusted a few things so they make what they should?
The results are only useful as comparitive measures on RR days, so if standard 182's etc make their usual 165-170bhp on the same...
The way these type things are normally removed is to warm with a hairdrier then use fishing line or dental floss behind the badge, polish up afterwards
PS - Not sure if it's specific for the badges you need.
You might want to look into flocking ;)

Personally I'm not keen on anything non-standard but this technique has been around a long while.
