Also, if it was at a dealer it will probably be virtually new and have no miles on it, these 200's are incredibly tight in the engine dept, mine now has 8.5k miles and is starting to feel much more free revving... it's getting better every time it goes on a nice long journey :)
Lots of people got their new 200's for around that money, some of us with Recaro/Air Con/metallic paint/floor mats/fuel thrown in (I paid cash up front which I think helped)... It was back when list price was at least £1k less, scrappage scheme was giving a fortune on £500 bangers and VAT was...
Looking forward to the review and discussion, careful though this thread will be closed by the CS police (like mine below) :(

Not too bad a deal compared to the spec options on a normal 200, still a lot of money for a Clio though.
UK car prices have really gone up over the last 1.5 years.
I'm judging this by passengers opinions, the elderly usually make a comment along the lines of 'feeling all the bumps', I think any of us that have a history of sporty range cars will not worry.
How hard is the new FRS? When I tried the old shape FRS it was suprisingly complaint for the grip...
Said it many times, people who drive normally and calculate properly without trusting the trip computer get much closer 35mpg in the 200.
I'm very happy with mine after previously owning more exotic machinery :approve:
Re: Track Car Nurburgeing Toy
looks like a great restoration and fun project, glad you wrapped it as the colour match for the silver was sadly not so good :(
I think it's why I like the restoration of old classics in that Wheeler Dealer program, shame they always miss the ££££ labour costs off the calculation at the end :clown:
Cheers folks, how was the first episode last night?
I'm still catching up on last season :o
It might just be me but I get really irritated when they buy some old cheap cars for a 'challenge' and then bash them into each other during the filming, there was a very nice Cossie and E190...
OK - I remember many people saying there would be a new TG episode with a Clio 200 review and jaunt across Italy, has this aired yet and if so anyone know the episode reference? I haven't seen a thread on here about it and seemed to think it was showing in June...
Thanks in advance, I live in...
Glad someone else has found the 200 trip computer reads low, I think tank to tank full calculated 35mpg from the 200 on runs is completely respectable.
RS200 with 450 miles on a tank full, mixed driving mostly motorway and journeys onto Alps roads, not even trying to drive especially economically - Regularly returning 34mpg, although I only use 98RON SUL.
