Spent yesterday getting the Forge hoses on. And today getting all the other bits back together.
Im not a massive fan of the Forge hoses TBH, the design is crap. Also there hose clamps are made of cheese. Used some Screwfix specials we used to use down the dockyard for holding antennas to...
So after 6 months without an engine the Petrol Blue's bay if full once again :)
Started off this morning taking the Auxiliary bits off for better access and jacking up the car, bringing the engine out of the garage and setting up the crane for my mate Jason to come over.
Then set about...
Sadly my 106 run around is no longer !
No ABS and cold rubber. Back end started to rotate round and ran out of road to correct it. Its not worth repairing it as it would need a lot of work to get back even running let alone all the other damage it sustained trying to get it off that rail...
Battery was brand new which is going on the Clio. It had a airbox which iv taken off. Its off the the scrappy asap.
No damage to myself, wasn't going fast enough to hurt.
Yea its scrap. Holes in the sump, something drastically wrong with Driveshaft, exhaust fell off, gear selector is majorly bent and quite a bit of bodywork damaged after trying to get it off the rail.
Thats a narrow bridge, some chap came round it as i was doing the same. No ABS and cold rubber. Back end started to rotate round and ran out of road to correct it.
We did see an English guy come out and warn us about Matey's welding !!!
For me it's the Clio also.
The R26 is a complete monster on both track and road and it is a very nice car to be in when on the move. I'd definitely have Tim's one for sure but I'm more of a Clio fan rather than a...
So last weekend Myself, @Fletcher and @TimR26 visited the Ring, The other two had been twice before but for me it was my first time. Very enjoyable time was had by all, no major problems to report of other than Fletcher's suspected misfire and Tim's exhaust hanger snapping off. The whole place...
Yea its fully adjustable to fit any car pretty much. Dunno where is from? Cant even remember how I got hold of it tbh. Its got bits missing so it's a bit cobbled together. One of the supports is held against the window :fearscream:
It had the lowest springs on it imaginable and shagged dampers.
Got new springs and dampers that claimed to be for a 106 gti but im not too sure 😂 Il get a picture later.
Im loving the Rally part of the game but the Rallycross and Hillclimb are a let down on first impression.
Rallycross is very hard to be competitive and plays very differently to the rallying
Hillclimb has such a sharp learning curve its hard to enjoy for what it is. As much fun as it is...
Just cant get the hang of it. Feels so different from the other parts of the game !! Il keep on at it though :)
Abandon my championship in the RWD Group B and went for a Sierra :)
