as said, I'll whip mine out on saturday and check them. they've been in since oct / nov and get given a bit of stick most days. been fine though.
bit suprised to be honest. hopefully just a faulty set.
but thats the problem you were having no? you couldnt find one in the first place low mileage and the price you wanted to pay. the price you wanting to pay was alot less than book already, and due to the way cs.net is, it seems like thats the norm.

i would say in most circumstances thats true, but when you have a car with the most popular "sheep" mods fitted and some that people genuinely want, it may help you to get a little extra.
everytime a post comes up about pads, i say this and people still come on and try and defend them saying there an ok pad. there not. there s**t. they dont work any better than standards and they fall apart.

i used a pretty similar routine with mine (rc5+) and they're spot on now. they do get muchos hot when your doing it though.....
oh and they do rattle like funk when there cold.
would probably take a garage less than 2 hours, but it comes down to a) how confident you are and b) whether you think a bit more of your time is worth more than a few £'s
its straight forward enough, so long as you support the engine there's not a lot than can go wrong. the only trouble i had...
love the old xr2's :approve: mum used to have a e reg black one when i was at school, wanted that car so much. then she traded it in for a brand new nissan micra.......
