so whats the point in people giving there opinion in a thread like this, based on personal experiences and use, if someone else just comes along with "the better answer"? i have used both of them, and i think the c/l's work and feel better. thats my opinion, the op was asking for opinions. and...

in your opinion of course.... in mine, they are. hence why i wrote it. ive had the ds's on two cars now and not hugely impressed with them. on the clio, the c/l's were alot better.

ebc yellows are suppose to be ok but i hate ebc with a passion so would steer clear mintex 1144's are also pretty popular but ive never used them so cant comment erm, pagid blues (mega bucks), PF97's (destroy your wheels etc) and thats about it i think!

yep :) hence why i bought something different when i changed mine again. running carbon lorraine rc5+ at the minute, there miles better, but they rattle like god knows what in the carriers when there cold.

no worries, its annoying so worth doing. just need to take a bit off the two side edges of the pads so that there looser in the carriers.

did they file them down? you need to take some of the back plate material off before you fit them, otherwise, there too tight in the carriers and squeel.

2500's dont make noise if you fit them properly....

screw driver in behind it and pull it out, think thats how i did mine. there push fit.

on the cup i agree, but a iceberg ph2 lowered on standard wheels can look awesome.

when i first fitted my rc5's they locked the wheels just by mentioning the word brake. they just needed some bedding in. how long have they been on? have many miles etc?

Re: Fucked up my clio Sport Sticker :( yeh its internal. just got to be careful when peeling it off the backing as bits of letters stick, and the dots stick and dont come off properly. just dont rush it, talk properly, and ease the bits of the backing onto the window. ;)

ive not used yellows, but wouldnt touch ebc with a dead badger after previous experiences with red's and greens on two occassions. despite how good people say the yellows are, im SURE there is better out there especially for this sort of price.

i did make a comment in another thread i think, ive lost it though so i may have just thought about what i was going to write and not actually written it.....:S either way, i was suprised actually. not bought the mag since i was about 18/19 (25 now) and its not as "chavvy" for want of a better...
