ah ok.
i dont think you'll get much off that price tbh, but see if u can wrangle a free first service and full tank of petrol, and stuff like upgraded AA cover with it.
also, wouldn't worry too much abt recaros.
i have them in my R27, and whilst they look great, i think the standard seats...
thats the standard spec.
does this car not have any extras?
personally, i reckon at that price with that mileage u may be better off buying new if u can stretch it.
seen standard 197s bein pushed out at just under £14k
yup.
LHD only, but the engine can be serviced by normal dealers as its very similar to a standard 197 engine.
however, the gearbox will need specialist attention.
if your planning on comparing it with your own car after mods, perhaps the best idea is to strap a v-box on yours, and measure it yourself?
times seem to be varying, whether its down to engine looseness or what, who knows, but for your purposes, the most accurate test of how your mods are...
I agree with that, or maybe even not bothering and just saving up for a sport?
Not a Clio, but i spent a fortune building a MK5 GOLF GTI replica, only to find myself gettin bored of it after 6 months because at the end of the day, unless u mod the engine, it still feels too slow.
So, i ended...
did u tell the dealer that it had the morego conversion?
sometimes, dealers in the trade get all worried abt modified cars so will undervalue them significantly in case anything goes bang
^^^^^
the bonnet thing is normal. all 197s seem to have it.
i heard it ws something to do with hitting pedestrians but cant confirm it.
i don't have any vanity lights or a wheel jack either.
the new 197 Cup is a bit of a disappointment.
Its not really a "CUP" to be honest, seems more like a low spec 197.
The 172 cup and even the 182 cup appear to be much more focused cars. the new 197 just loses a few toys and gets the cup badge.
^^^^
that easy?
i got my r27 with full decals, but i hate the ones on thr front and back bumper.
thinkin of gettin them off, but had car for a while now so am bit worried abt damaging the paintwork.
the engine in the R27 is great once you've run it in... though sometimes between 1-2k rpm it seems like there isn't anything there almost as if it has turbo lag!
Biggest difference abt it to the 182 is that it seems to generate a lot more grip. The 182 is bit more playful at the limit but the...
Bag ureself an R27 if u can.
I've got one and haven't been disappointed.
The just-announced "CUP" doesn't seem extreme enough to wear the "cup" badge.
R27 will get u the lovely recaros as standard as well!
I'd go ape at the service manager if i ws you.
Bit ridiculous that they're tryin to charge u again for a fault they haven't fixed.
Which dealer is this? Noticed u from Bolton..... Is it Renault Bolton on manchester rd?? Name and shame!
it varies from dealer to dealer.
Apparently, those owned by the REAGROUP need u to be 25 to test drive a RS.
That's what dealer told me, but they can still let you out at their own discretion.
You're best off phoning up and letting a salesman know u mean business rather than walkin in off...
