i wouldn't do it to mine, but i really like what you've done mate, finish looks superb, i can't wait to see those monster door cards filled with speakers! wheels let it down imo, i'd slam it on some dished chromes. keep it up! nice to see something different. :)
that's what i was aiming for, without being chav. i saw ur posts yesterday, inspired me 2 get the bucket out 2day! it's actually a cherry red 1.4 si, i've spent a lot of the past year fitting the sport kit, interior, lowering, wheels, etc! thank god for student loans, hoping the april one will...
hello fella! t'was me, off to the garage for a clean and tweek! it's a ktec koncept spoiler. probably the most frowned upon thing i've done lol! your car looked tidy m8, love the exclusive! :D
gorgeous mate. r u modifying it? just maybe colour coding, new bump strips, clear indicators, nothing chav lol! we need a sheffield/ dronfield/ chesterfield meet. there's so many of us but we never meet up!
you could just drill holes in the door and fit the speakers via an MDF baffle. drill the baffle to the door and then the speaker to the baffle.
the center console is screwed in beneath the ashtray/drinks holder which pull out and clips around the side you can yank off! :D
hey guys, put my car on a diagnostics machine today, it came up with a fault from ECU to AC sensor, and fault 155: ABS-throttle pedal POS sensor. i can't remember the code number for the first fault. what's wrong here? where even are sensors for the AC? and my car is a ph1 with cable throttle...
it's slightly concerning that you don't appear to have a fuel cut off button!! when u said earlier the service light was flashing, do you mean the red led in the middle of the display? that's your immobiliser light, and that flashing lots when you turn the key means there's a prob with it.
as title, some phat rims, cup spoiler and aftermarket exhaust, cliosport sticker in rear window. quite tidy! didn't look to closely, apologies if it's a 182/ different blue! :rasp:
i would second ur review! however, managed to get a new devil decat on the bay for 45 squid, plus i didn't have to drop the frame to fit, so my approval may be higher!! keeps my cat safe for MOT time 2 FTW! ;)
mine leaked VERY slightly from the thermostat housing, left a crusty pink build up! it's the bit at the front of the block near your coolant temp sensor, i got a new one with gasket and housing for less than a tenner, fitting is a 5 min job. turned out it wasn't remotley the problem is was...
i'm in sheff, at hallam (geography), we've mentioned meets before but never had one to my knowledge. i'm up for one tho! would be good to meet other owners. i've never seen an LY around either.
hey guys, i've had a little problem with my clio for a while now. it overheats slightly, where the temp gauge used to sit perfectly it now gets a little high, will drop down and then rise again, never staying put. it doesn't get dangerously high, but after a long journey it won't restart till...
i've never changed it on my clio, but i imagine you'll just unbolt where the ball joint meets the hub and pull the arm down to free it. you won't need to worry about the ball joint. on a different note, you could try chiseling a line into the snapped bolt and it becomes a huge screw.. i've seen...
it's real easy, this thread inspired me to do mine, sadly no pics. shud've thought ahead. first lift the cover on the wiper arm, undo and remove the nut, then i used a simple puller tool to remove the arm itself. there's then another bolt holding the mechanism onto the boot from the outside...
lol, stripped for the win!! once you've done it, it's so easy, the panel comes off in minutes. just don't go eager and scratch your door with a screwdriver! once you've all the screws out, the panel is held on by an immense amount of black sticky stuff, the first time it's taken off it's soo...
tell me how u get on with the pennies!! at my garage we've a terrible old welder i won't bring near my baby, so i've still dirty great holes! ps i went 60mm on 17's, the lack of turning circle is bad enough standard lol!! looked mint tho with wheels buried in the arches.
go to halfords and get some proper bodywork filler. the filler wants to be just to smooth the imperfections of the weld, not to actually "fill" the hole, as it won't hold well enough. feather it out with some 800 or 1500 grit, depending how well you can sand, and spray it up. ur car looks mint...
i've had the same problems fella, been through 5 regulators in 4 years (when some1 breaks ur window, the regulator breaks 2 ugh). ebay is ur friend here, tho it's a lot less hassle to buy new off ebay than a second hand one, which are usually close to death anyway (hence 5!!). the door comes off...
lol, the filler will almost certainly fall out and crack with being slammed shut so often, a proper weld is best. but that depends how long your keeping the car for...
on a ph1 it's three torx screws in the heater vent and two either side of the dash behind your side vents, you'll have to open the doors to get to them/see them. take off the top of the steering column shroud by undoing the two screws from underneath and remove the now exposed screws under the...
some ph2 strips look the danglies for very little spendies, plus then you get to be in on all the bullet/diamond colouring action that goes on!! check the bay for wheels, seen a few sets for sub 200 recently.
the relays are under the bonnet, there's a plastic box to your right between the battery and wing, and they're in there with some hefty fuses. on mine there's 3 black and one yellow, but i think it may be different if you don't have a/c. one of the black ones is ignition. one is fan speed, as is...
i dunno, i borrowed them off a friend of a friend! cambelt is the obvious one, plus all the tensioners, maybe water pump? full service really. but having all those bits off is a good opportunity for a really good check of everything, i've not done much to my clio yet, but swapped an engine in my...
