If i ran the hub carriers would i need the driveshafts as well, basically if i bought the hub carriers and driveshafts would that be complete?
thanks
josh
What i actually wanted to do was run 172 wishbones, or is it the hub carrers? as i figured it would space it correctly? am i correct in thinking this? Like i said ive already got 20mm spacers and have noticed no detrimental effects. Think ill go for the 25mm steel ones.
Looking on here at a set of 25mm ones as the last company gave me a refund after not been delivered for 2 months

choice of material is alloy or steel?
which do i go for, there is a 20 quid difference in price and if you don't know how these...
had it on a non RS, the lil gaitor around it splits and lets a load of dirt and crap in. Means you get excessive play and knocking from the wheel. had mine done (top job might i add) at a local garage. 10 quid for the part and 20 quid to fit.
If it matters a lot, for the MOT go to maplin. Buy a few LED's in orange and some low guage cable. Splice it off ur front indicators and run the wire through the engine bay on top of your mirrors. MOT passed :)
like i said if the windows were definitely closed then even if he snapped you, chances are you will be able to get off on that alone. If you recieve a NIP within 14 days go on

Just have to wait and see.
theyre not type approved for use with the windows closed but they have been known to hand out offences this way, most probably not been used at the time (setting up or packing up), its more common for them to have them closed in winter so the scammers don't get cold ;)

Just a case of unbolting the old one and bolting the new one in its place, no need to suport engine etc as it prevents engine slap, not really support the engine.
no you need to lever the light out wether you remove the spolier or not. You need to be really really careful... edfe it a lil bit in a few locations at a time, guy at the paint shop cracked mine then tried to deny it.
Anyone know a knack to doing this without bending the lead inside, ive had a used seal that ive spend 10 mins getting out at the scrappies, then when installing found it impossible not to bend it.

So just lets make this clear, has either insurance company been contacted at this stage?
Is this kid happy for you to repair/replace his car without going through the insurance?
If the first answer is No and the second Yes.... Your Sorted somewhat.
