    Head unit with USB port

Really?!? That's strange cause it worked fine on my old mans. Have you set your Ipod to connect mode (as if you were using it as a hard-drive). worked straight off with my old mans.

Why would you choose a mac over a PC?

I own a PC, but I have to admit I'm seriously considering a Macbook laptop. Apart from the macs being more reliable, they are less prone to viruses/hacking as less people use them, and there is less mal-ware out there. All in all, yes there is more software out there for pcs, but macs tend to...

    Rubbing When Turning

Back wheel rubbing when turning? Not likely. It could be your bearings or bushes on the way out. Your front wheels are the ones that rub - if they do.

Brake Pedal Adjustment on a New Seat Leon...

Alright guys, Apologies for this, as it's not a Clio related question. Does anyone know how to adjust the angle of the brake pedal on a New Seat Leon? My old man has one and there is a MASSIVE difference in height between the brake and accelerator pedal? I drove it the other week and you...

    new tyre I'm afraid. :(

    Rocks in road!!!!

your tyre will need replacing. A bulge can cause the tyre to delaminate and explode (f1 style, with flames and everything)... Ok, the last bit was a lie, but they can cause your tyre to fail

My cup has no front splitter

Probably break as easily as the plastic ones. If you're worried about the look of it, 2000 wet n dry and a can of black paint will work a treat! ;)

No reception a valid reason to terminate a phone contract?

I was with Orange - bunch of traind chimps, the lot of them. Still to find a usefull customer service advisor with them. I've spent probably 12 hours on the phone to them, over the space of a month, all relating to the same problem, and still no joy. Suffice to say, my contract came up for...

from from a pc to a mac

Should be able to - most apple macs have at least some PC compatability nowadays. Would be interested to hear how you get on - gotta say I'm getting slowly converted to the Ibook way of things.... Might be my next big purchase.

    Sat Nav Recommendations

I've a Snooper Syrius - fantastic one. Made by the people who do Snooper radar detectors, so has all their radar info, but also has one of the best Sat-Navs I've ever used! I had one on my old PDA which I thought was good, but this trounces it. Also used a Tom-Tom (not a fan) and "another" one...

My cup has no front splitter

I thought it was the start of a joke "I say, I say, I say, my cup has no front splitter..." :S Get a CF one for it - they're cheaper than the standard Renault one, and believe me, you WILL scrape it yourself at some point!

    anyone know

Ah yeah. You probably would get insurance, but not for much below £1k! If I was you, save your money, and make do with your existing car for the time being, and then when you get to 20, get yourself an R27!

    anyone know

Save for a few more months and get a 172 or a 182. Much better car, and I guarentee you'll not regret it!

    anyone know

Depends on age, how often it has been serviced, state of engine, state of oil, etc. You can probably ask Renault or look on a car webpage and you'll get the book figure. It'll never be that high though.

A goddamawful modded Clio - Ferrybridge Services, M62, yesterday

Sounds very much like the one I see parked at the back of Dixons over in Lichfield every weekend. Keep meaning to take some pictures of it. Man it is awfull. And the best part is, it still has it's 1.2 badge on the door!

    Annoying Squeaking Noise

you'll find it's the gear-shift mouse getting angry by all the work on your exhaust. Try placing a little bit of cheese by your gear lever and coax the little blighter back to behaving.

Recommended digital cameras up to £100?

7.2 is kinda high! To be honest, for most needs, you'll never set it above 4. That'll knock about £30 off your asking price. I had one of the Digimax V4s a few years back. Think they have updated it now. To be honest, there are gonna be so many deals on Digital cams comming up to christmas, I'd...

    Got my Neons fitted

Doesn't the mark 2 actually vary the light depending on what's at the edge of the screen (or did I dream that one...) ie, it isn't a "solid" colour like the mark 1 ambi light, but each edge is different.

Ah yeah... there is that small matter! ph1 172 FTW!

    pics of the astra

I disagree - but he's not gonna like what I say. A manual would be better for motorways as the top gear is longer and you'd get better fuel economy. Autos for stop-start town driving every time.

Temp Guage going wild + loss of power

Depends on what it is. Head Gasket blowing can be due to lack of oil, hard driving from cold, excessive revving (bouncing off the red-line), or just mechanical failure. I hate to say it, but the chances of the garage choosing the last option is remote.

Temp Guage going wild + loss of power

If this is the case, it's an easy one to diagnose (expensive to fix though unfortunatly). Open your oil filler cap and look to see if there are what look like soap-suds on the top of the oil. A tiny amount or none, means its something else. lots means, yep, water in your oil and Head Gasket blown.

Temp Guage going wild + loss of power

I know this is the obvious question, but have you checked your water level?
