Those are what i put in mine (and what came out).

    My 182 Trophy

Best thing to sort this is pull the belts out the car, shut them in the door and pressure wash them! They should come up like new!

    Belts?

As for the plugs whip one out, should NGK R written on them (i did mine at the weekend and pretty sure that was what was written on them)

    Belts?

Sounds like (from the reciept) that its had a cambelt kit fitted and an auxilary belt, they havent replaced the auxilary tensioners. I'd probably be inclined to have the lot replaced so least you have piece of mind then.

Notice anything strange with this trophy?

I remember sitting in a trophy before i bought my 182 (driving it was the reason i bought my 182 actually) and thinking f**k me i'm uncomfortable! They do look awesome though!

    dials go wierd at startup

I wouldn't worry mate. I think the battery thing is unique to peugeots but u could get it tested somewhere if your worried as it's normally free for a test.

    dials go wierd at startup

Used to do this on my GTI 6, would make wierd noises and take a few second for them to start working - was a fault with the clocks. My other GTI 6's dials used to jump to 140mph and back down, that was to let me know the battery was on its way out.

    Buying Advice for a Newbie

£1400 isnt cheap for a Cat C buddy. Cant see the pics. Full cambelt kit with a dephaser is about £600.

    Clio 182 price advice...

Depends how much you want it mate. If you can be arsed to hold out or whether you're prepared to travel.

    Clio 182 price advice...

Too right! RB and Inferno do carry a premium (especially FF ones as most in these colours are poverty spec cups). Expect to pay out your arse for a liquid yellow one. Black, Silver and Artic blue are very common so expect to pay a good few hundred quid less for these. I nearly bought a silver...

    Lamba question??

Personnaly i wouldnt bother with a decat but if i did i'd just put up with the light on my dash / or get a OBD fault reader for £20 and turn it off whenever it came on. I wouldnt bother replacing the front one unless its knackered TBH - in which case you would be having running issues i would...

    Clio 182 price advice...

Depends if it has cup packs and whether its due belts, if its tidy with good history, belts done etc its probably worth £3500 - £3700. It is silver which should make it a good few hundred quid cheaper IMO.

DS04*** Just clocked it outside waitrose, looked nice and standard :)

    Cam belt and dephaser replacment.

I dont think the £100 for labour is including the parts. £100 labour is about right assuming it was mates rates on a non A/C cup, your looking well over £500 for belts and dephaser on a 182 / 172 with A/C. FYI dephaser is around £160.

    BG182FF - Fiesta ST - Focus RS - BG182FF?

Cant see a tidy one for less that £7K which is R26 money! You could have my RB for the right price. It got the turini would just need slamming :)

    BG182FF - Fiesta ST - Focus RS - BG182FF?

I'm tempted by an RS they seem to be holding there money very well though and the interior is even worse than the clios!

Notice anything strange with this trophy?

If I was gonna part ex my trophy I'd whip out the recaro's and sell them seperately like IS1 said however part ex'd it has probably got another £700 on top of the trade value (probably got more then than they would for the car privately). The garage obviously didn't notice any difference. Its...

    Solid Engine Light

Sounds same as mine, light was on 2 weeks then went off for a week or so, came back on again so i took it to Birchdown who put a new fixing kit in. I also had a high pitched whistling noise after 4500rpm which went once the joint had been sealed properly. All the power was there and i was stil...
