Yes you get a refund, but silly me went into the apple store with my bumper receipt expecting a refund, only to be told I had to return the bumper as well and then claim the free one online....Now maybe I was expecting too much but surely it makes sense to just refund me the £25 and let me keep...
Ive just been told by someone that our CEO is getting a replacement phone which has new hardware to address the issue. Probabally rubbish and someone just getting confused. I got my 4 last night, fitted the bumper, and whilst the signal strength when im at home only shows 1 bar, it still seems...
This is one for all the guys and gals with Iphone 4's, as Im left handed, and as such always use my left hand to hold the phone...does this mean when I recieve my iphone its basically going to have rubbish signal unless I pay £25 for a bumper? Does the bumper eradicate the issue totally? I had...
Well I turned up at Apple Regents Street to pickup my preorder phone (I work over the road so it worked out well). However the queues are huge, and I had to be in the orifice for 8...so I will pop over later when hopefully they have run out of stock and are only supplying the pre orders...
Truly awesome car, and colour..... Not 100% on the wheels, as I nowadays always prefer OEM, but its a cool motor! The yellow one shown above is horrible in my opinion as the wheels ruin it, but each to there own...

Nope, nothing. Ive now built all my laptops with Bitlocker, and they will only boot when I insert my USB stick which contains my key. Im not worried about the hardware as it can be replaced, but wouldnt want anyone getting hold of any of my data...
And that my freind, is why this worlds full of c*nts.... If you do the crime you should be able to do the time.... My Mrs "accidently" drove into someones car the other day in a car park...she did try to find the woman but couldnt, but then we managed to find her...ended up costing me £400...
Re: Modern Warfare 2: Prestige Edition
Hi Guys, Its probabally a matter of preference for most, but can anyone recommend the best place to preorder this game?
So So So true.... I never realised that if you sign into MSN on your xbox, it tells all your other MSN contacts what game your playing...not good if you have work mates on MSN and youve pulled a sickie to hit COD 4 all day as I did one time (theoretically of course)!
This may interest you, added bonus of a dvd player, although the player tray is reported to be flimsy....

Just browse to www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer, then click on the + icon on bottom of screen, and choose "add to home screen"....you then get a lovely Iplayer icon and a link straight to the iplayer :)
Hi Guys,
DOes anyone know if these online unlocking places that send you a code to unlock your phone actually work? The shop near me that usually does phone unlocking is closed at the moment, and I want to get my phone unlocked, and it seems the easiest way is to get pay a few quid and get the...
You will need to connect to the router admin page...do an ipconfig on your machine, check the default gateway, then enter that address into your web browser, usually that will take you to your routers config page.
Gotta love the Acer haters....I bought an Acer about 2 years ago, and its run like a dream ever since. For the money is was very well specced compared to rivals in the same price range.
I would agree with the static comments..... Having completed a Sun Microsystems M series hardware course a...
Why would you drill inwards? I would have though it made more sense locating where you want the cable to exit from inside the house, then drill outwards as it will be a clean hole, where as drilling from outsdie in risks blowing plaster etc?
Hey Guys, this is a question regarding my Laguna V6, but It should be the same as the clio. Basically Car was running really lumpy at low revs, a mate connected it to his computer jobbie and it showed that the Coolant temp sensor was giving erratic feedback. I swapped this out, and it did...
Ive come across what is possibly the most useful bit of software in a longtime, thought I would share it with you all. Basically its called Dropbox, and after installing a client on all your machines, you get 2GB of free stroage, and anything you put into your dropbox folder is automatically...
Mate,
Not sure what you need the laptop for, but If you want something nice and compact I would recommend the Advent 4211. You can pick these up for approx £270, the momory can be upgraded to 2GB for £10....The processor can be over clocked via the bios to 1.9ghz and its a great little...
The super search service is great, and the cracked version cannot enable that...its only $29 for a years subscription.... With the cracked version you have to put an entry in your hosts file directing newsleecher.com to 127.0.0.1, but as i said, you loose functionality and its much better to...
Both mine and a mate of mines V+ box does this as well!! Whenever I turn the box on after being powered off it does it. At first I thought it was a problem with the HDMI cable, but I have since found the best way to sort it is to reset the box with the button front left....this then fixes the...
So what your saying is to ask a technical question in a IT/techical section of a car forum instead of a specialist forum that your only going to get muppet answers?
Firstly, that suggests you yourself are a muppet along with the rest of us, and secondly I love the way you always thing you are...
Ive got the Advent 4211....Its great...its a rebadged MSI wind...the latest MSI bios allows 24% overclocking meaning it runs at just under 2ghz when on mains power..plus you can upgrade the memory to 2GB from play for £10 and a 300GB hard drive is about £60.... Its a great little machine...
ESX is now free under the ESXi guise, the new version is 3.5i.... I installed it the other day and it seems pretty good...they have removed the console function so its more "appliance"..... Im doing a lot of work with Sun VDI's at present, and so Im trying to set up a little x86 solaris...
Best way is to enable remote services on the desktop, then use a program called mstsc to connect. However you will need a monitor to allow remote services in the first place....
Also this all depends on you running XP or later....
