hate to sound stupid, but isnt that done on a service? the cars done 46k and is a T plate, so id assume this would have been done? due another service a wee while ago, not taken it in yet as i didnt really have time :(
si172s right, thats how u can feel the difference
Funkyjahooner, yeah, renault gearboxes are possibly the worst gearboxs ive ever had... on gear changes when cold, the renault gearbox is particularly bad - compare it to the likes of a VW gearbox when cold, and the difference really shows. They...
as for doing the rear, no need, the track is wider on the front as standard anyway
personally i would have just not bothered with spacers and put up with not having full lock, as widening the track will cause more rapid wear on suspension parts
not sure wtf a caliper extender actually is btw... lol
would make sense if they allowed bigger pads...
more contact area, so more stopping power
otherwise if the pads are the same size then theres no point (unless theyre moved further out from the centre of the disc, which again will...
it aint hard, the connector is split into two halves, power half, and speaker half, after a wee bit of trial and error ull work it out... why not just wire them to the original speaker wires? its so much simpler...
also, as said above, id lose the 6x9s and get components and a sub :) 6x9s...
yeah patty, the ones from renault would also have to be sprayed. Pointless buying them if they came already sprayed anyway, theyd never be the same colour (cause ur cars paint will have faded)
hi ebee.... lol
erm...personally i couldnt wait to get uprated pads delivered, my discs were that badly scored and i was down to the metal on the pads, that i just went to halfords and bought some ferrodo pads, and some oe discs from euro car parts in paisley :)
seemed ok, but they squeek...
Woof, seriously doubt it, as by the time it alerts u, it already has its first reading, the second reading is taken right after, so unless u have amazing reactions, and amazing brakes with amazing tyres, then u aint gonna slow down in time, even from 40 i think ud be pushed to get down to 30 in...
sometimes used to happen with blue die cds with mine
it always happens with cds designed purely for audio
the copyright thing shouldnt make a difference
maybe not, some diffusers only diffuse the first signal, so that when the police try again, it picks it up properly to avoid looking suspicious ;) but with a single reading they wont pull u :)
yeah, but then an ICE install is a waste of money by that definition... surely a box and a sub would be just as useful as a full install...?
Btw, it can be hard to read maps, especially when driving... I personally know, that as soon as i hit the city, even with a map, then im lost. No...
how do you justify that comment?
maybe its a waste of cash for you, and your needs, but thats another story.
Girls? why just girls? anyone who can afford it, and doesnt like running the risk of getting lost, is perfectly entitled to have it fitted, without some guy on cliosport calling it a...
aint no such thing, pioneer have just released a 2004 range, but it varies company to company, the old model prices tend not to drop THAT much, not much in it to make you want to skimp on £20 for a new model ;)
the quality from the 6x9s (if quality and 6x9s can be used in the same sentence), will only be as good as the quality of the amp...
it should be louder, but god knows why u got rid of the sub and kept the 6x9s, id have kept the sub and got rid of the 6x9s, better for sound quality...alot...
dont think itll work with the standard single cd headunit
in theory itd work if it supported a changer though - may take a bit of messing about with to get it to think theres a changer connected to play the input signal, but otherwise no, it wont work.
the IR adapters will work with any pioneer headunit - they all have IR eyes on the front, u can see it if u hold the face up to the light and look at the top left hand corner of the face :)
no idea mate, it could be multiple parts, best thing to do is go to the pioneer site, then ICE, products, other then adapters, and download the pdf with the parts list, and search google for the part number, or phone up a local car shop with the part number. MCS-Direct...
