cool may have to take a pop down there this weekend.
I recon its because of the harder suspension set up that makes them more prone to cracking Nik has had to replace one as well.
Only had the car since the 2nd September and I have already got a smashed fog light.
Bloody things. The only problem is the crack is getting worse and it has gone all around the lense now, so will need a replacment straight away.
Does anyone know of a company that makes lense protectors...
If you not in any major rush you may be better off waiting until the new RS is relesed late next year, as the prices of all of the RS Clio range will drop in price.
If you cant wait that long, i would try getting one now, as the prices have steadly dropped since earlier this year, and as...
Dodgy. I emailed him to find out what Number the car is, considering it is ready for imediate delivery and as of yet hasnt replied, This was last week.
There was another one sold like that and i red the comments of the buyer who said beware of this ebayer its not all as it seem.
Beware...
I own a Trophy, and the part about not been able to adjust the car mid corner is a little mis informing. The Trophy can easily be adjusted mid corner, if you misjudge the turn in point or find yourself slighty wide, all you need to do is pull the steering wheel and it will change direction even...
I had the same problem a few weeks back, had no fuel and filled up with 95 as they had sold out of 97/8.
Bearing in mind my car has only done 2000 miles i was a little bit worried about this, but filled it up to half a tank and drove home.
The one big difference i noticed was the engine...
You may be better off going to Renault and purchasing a new set for the Clio Trophy. I bought a set from a scrappy and after 3 weeks when i opened the boot they would just drop. Ever since then i will only get body work and little bits of dash etc, never mechanical parts.
I belive that most people use the same as is supplied with the car to start off with, which IIRC is a semi synthetic oil, but dont hold me to that. After the first service alot of people switch to a fully syn oil.
The Trophy is great, having loads of fun with it.
SOD It i am going to enter as well even though i already have a Trophy, then if i win it i will keep it garaged for a few years, and then think about selling it.
LOL only kidding, I will let you lot have the chance of winning it.
Well i am based on the Essex/Suffolk border so not to far eaither, most of the meets that i atted are in Southend.
Have a look at www.cliotrophy.co.uk I am looking to sort out a large get together soon.
Steve
You must be mad, i much prefer my Trophy, mainly for the pratcalty of checking things in the boot and been able to take passangers in the back. Couldnt live without the space. What i would like though is the power of the V6 in the Trophy now that would be perfect.
Definatly going the coil over option, after driving a car with that set up and driving my Trophy they are very similar to drive apart from the fact that with the coilovers the car is much closer to the ground.

Just having a look and found his car sat on the main page.
Once again the car looks stunning
:)
I have just sold all of my old ICE and am looking to upgrade.
I am looking for a good quality h/unit and a good amp.
The amp has got to be capable of running a set of componets at the front of the car, a set of two ways in the rear, and a 10" sub.
What are your suggestions, i dont...
I am looking to purchase a new H/unit and amp for my car, but not to sure what to get, i have looked at the Alpine CDA-9853R and the connectors to use the stalk control. What do people think about the H/Unit and what alternatives are there around the £250 mark.
AMP Wise i am wanting to run...
I have been thinking about change my headunit to one of these, only problem is i have a Sony Minidisc changer but would like to keep that in the car, any ideas if this can be connected to a Alpine H/unit?
I belive that you can adjust the damping rates of the fronts, but when you try to turn the knob it has a pin which stops it turning, TBH i am not sure I would start mucking about with the Knob just in case i mucked the settings up.
It drives likes it is on rails as it is :D
