I noticed this when I was doing 0-60 tests on my performance meter, it registered my time to 60mph even tho the speedo only reached about 57mph.

hi ClioK, soz if i've got my beer head on... but isnt that around the other way? if your speedo is reading less at 70, reading 65mph... you car mileage will be less at 70k miles and read 65k ? (which is good! : )

...does putting bigger wheels on your car slow the reading on the speedo down, so for e.g when your actually doing 60mph it will read 56mph ? and 100mph will read further out say 95 on the speedo? ta.

After you guys saying about the power thing, I think your right after all. I had a wide Racing Puma, and that was gutless... all show and no go.. soon got bored with that! but then again...that was my only car at the time, and didnt have a pocket rocket in the garage for the adrenalin rush...

yes.. i hear you guys.. i already have a very quick 5GTT 200bhp+ (Hybrid Turbo, charge cooler, Aquamist etc). So wanted another car for more of a daily user... but didnt need a high power car... but wanted it to look good.. and not be too slow...but reasonable.. is that still a bad idea.

Cheers mate, the reason I ask was cos someone told me once the air bags can go off if they are disconnected wrongly? But sounds very easy...cheers.

Has anyone else fitted these seats in there 172/182? Just wondering about the air bags etc when the original seats are removed? Is it easy to remove them yourself? Liking these...

I have a chance to buy some alloy wheels which were on a Ford, will they be 4x100 bolt size the same as Renaults and the offset be ok for a Clio? as the width and size of the wheel is what I want.. 16" x 7. thanks.
