My brother just got some cobra sidewinders for his 182 from ebay, does anyone know what parts he needs to fit these to the 182 and where such parts can be purchased?

They are at stupid money at the moment, anyone buying one now would be crazy. The one we saw the dealer wanted just over £18,000, it had cornering lights and climate that were cost options. It just isnt powerful enough to be a 18 grand car.

Anyone notice in the back of this evo edition it has the 182 cup quicker round bedford than the trophy, is this true?

I heard something similar from a seat owner. Flipping heck though 5 litres of virosol is £4.99 probably work out cheaper if you buy the 25 litre drum of it. Its also excellent for cleaning round the house.

Is viro-sol acidic, the ingredients are - Nitrilotriacetate Trisodium Salt 10-20% Surfactants 10-20% Sodium Citrate 1-5% Orange Terpenes 1-5% Water Balance Dye Trace Its also sold more expensively under the name of MC2 multiclean I think.

I use viro-sol on the alloys, cheaper than wonder wheels is well.

I don't think it was made for us 172 cup drivers although I love the brakes. This 197 is less raw and focussed perhaps aimed at the ladies and people that would normally buy german and steer clear of tracks. Only problem is I would rather have a civic type-r or mini cooper s than the 197...

I wish they would compare it to the current civic type-r. After all they have similar power and weight now.

Rather than sell mine if the insurance was cheap enough I think I would buy another to use as a track car if prices are falling but silver though.

the clutch action that is in comparison to another 182 I drove recently, any ideas what it could be and if I can have it fixed on warranty - do the clutches get harder with more miles? The power delivery is also a bit lazy but thats another story. Car has done 23k.

Got a mio 269 plus digiwalker. It can be unlocked to use tom tom and other windows ce stuff, has a big hard disk, 1gb memory card and you can use it walking around is well. Only problem is it doesnt show speed cameras.

Get one with the m spec pack. I passengered at bedford in a 320i with the m suspension and it corned as flat as a pancake very little roll, seemed like it handled very nice.

Watch out for that raped trophy one of the dealers is selling, its spent all its life on a track. Probably better to buy from a enthusiast whos had it from new because then you know its been looked after.
