the clutch action that is in comparison to another 182 I drove recently, any ideas what it could be and if I can have it fixed on warranty - do the clutches get harder with more miles? The power delivery is also a bit lazy but thats another story. Car has done 23k.

Depends how you drive it? But generally they are pretty solid.

The clutch on my mk2 172 was always very heavy from new .When i got my new 182 i found the clutch to be alot lighter which took a bit of getting used to .I prefer a heavy clutch really .

Heavy clutches are a b**ch in traffic! i wear quite solid boots to work, and have started changing into trainers to drive, as kept stalling for a bit, made me look like a right tit, lol.
