Deffo not on a 182 cos of the exhaust (172s are fine though) - I use the wifes motor to tow around my bike!
No reason why a specialist towbar place couldnt make one up for you; although you would run into probs with insurance (& warranty I suppose) if you have a crash whilst towing!

yup £13k is a good target for a new one with Cup options from a dealer - as I mentioned there are some nearly new UK ones coming up too for around £11k.

Bear in mind that you only ever hear about peoples problems on most car forums - including on the Seat ones! My 182 has faultless to date (5k miles), and I had more probs with my last 2 Hondas!
Cupras are nice cars - test drove a Cupra R a while ago and would have got it if I could of afforded...
Yup done the event over 12 times now :D http://www.cliosport.net/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif (some pics in my album) was going to mention about the under 21 thing too!
Caterhams are my favourite, although to be honest theyre all good - even the off-roaders!!
Top tips include:
1) dont...
Yes am aware that by coming off the power in a FWD nose will usually pull in tighter - but when in high speed bends you dont want to be coming off the power too quick (esp. in a Clio!) - much better to balance the car with a bit of throttle after your braking point and then nail it at the apex...
you should never come off the gas in any FWD car when going round corners - the 182 seems really sensitive to this; best bet is to keep the pedal to the metal!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ agree with all this
Had a couple of long test-drives in the MCS Works before I went with the 182 - without a shadow of a doubt it is a very swift & competent car - almost too smooth in its power delivery though (no real kick at any point made it feel slower than it was...
I always have in on - too much of a scaredy cat I guess  - and I just know if I switch it off, Ill stack it and then forever kick myself for not leaving it on!!

£13k new with options from a dealer seems to be a good target - mine was £13.2k although you can get pre-reg/import ones much cheaper (£12k).
Alternatively a few people seem to be selling nearly new ones around the £11-£12k mark
Yup had it a few times (really scary until you get used to it!) - normally when braking from 80-90mph to 40ish and turning too (doh must remember not to turn and brake!)
If you do a search youll see a few threads on this - for me NU and Tesco were the only ones who didnt have a prob with Cup packs - its been different for others on here though...
Yes - looks like the bit where they do the caterham cone challenges/collect you for the off-roaders....(dedicated Caterham track is other side of the Autodrome)
M3 if you can afford it (& <20mpg) deffo!
I went from company Accord Type-R to 182 after nearly buying a new STi Type UK - so glad I did - saved a bundle with the opt-out allowance (residuals arent too hot though but as theyre "only" £13k in the first place you wont lose a fortune) and...
Havent really decided yet tbh - am tempted as I need to free up some wonga for a business venture - only had the car 3 months/3k miles though, and unlike some on here it seems to be a goodun!
Most Renault dealers will do them around the £13k-£13.5k mark fully cupped etc, so it sounds like they...
