what's the justification for that?!? i can understand if you increased the bhp, you'd be charged extra for the increased risk of a faster car. but i can't see the increased risk with fitting different wheels...?
looking clean
the top of my headlights are quite dull, feel quite rough. is there an everyman way of fixing this, ie without an electric polisher?
if you pay a premium for declared mods, will the insurance company only replace with standard items?
if yes to standard items, what happens if you write the car off, do you only get the value of a factory spec car?
i know it's old, but in case anyone is reading, you need a 5pk belt for this. a 6pk will rub on the cambelt cover. i used a 5pk830 i think. tight fit, but i imagine anything between an 835-850 will work
one of the reasons for changing the wheels is that i will need some new tyres in the coming months, and the turinis are kerbed quite a bit. the obvious plan would be to get them refurbed and new tyres, but that would cost as much as a new set of wheels. i've seen 15" black pro race's go for as...
hi, what do i need to connect a decat to centre section, just paste?
i've seen the manifold to cat gasket from ebay/kam racing for £14 delivered, seems to be the best deal, just not sure about the other end.
everything i've read indicates this is one of if not the best mod you can do on a clio... whether your average joe will notice the difference on their commute is another matter...
as much as i'm an arse for posting this when you're trying to sell your arb, i have nothing against someone trying to make a profit. if you had bought ten of these in a group buy and tried to flog them all at £300 each then that would be a touch harsh, but trying to make a quick buck is fine...
get some pics up when they're fitted. i'm getting some black alloys (wanted these since 2003 no matter what car i had!) but will have to lower first. i don't know if springs will go low enough so be good to see what yours do.
if you're keeping it, you shouldn't leave it on for longer than a day without removing it and cleaning the bonnet underneath the bra. bonnet bras can cause more damage than stone chips if not used correctly, have a google for bonnet bra damage.
It needs lowering, I can get my fist between wheel arch and tyre! Far too high. I live just down the road in farnborough, work miles away in reading though. U?

edit: not lowered though. recessed exhaust. with a crappy black bit of plastic that looks like a crappy heat shield, because whoever cut the recess for...
