i think they're more like £60 now. plenty easier then changing a sensor though, although i've just been reading another thread where somewhere changed the sensor but still had a whiny pump. the sensor's been leaking for a while now so i wouldn't be surprised if the pump is knackered.
assuming i...
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
looks like it might not have anything to do with the box replacement, just coincidence. i've noticed the pas pump is noisy all the time and there is fluid in the pressure sensor, so i've started a new thread...
hi, my pas pump is making the same noise all the time (except neutral position) that you usually only get on full lock. i've also got a leak somewhere but the reservoir isn't going down. i've also got fluid inside the pressure sensor.
so rather than replace the pump and the sensor, should i bin...
I'd be tempted to start a new thread for each problem in the relevant forums ie suspension, brakes, wheels & tyres for brake problem.

anyone, i need to get some bushes or wishbones but getting nowhere, unless i want to call renault. would be good to know if the 172 cup uses same or different wishbones as other clios
just going by what it says on your avatar, figured it would say ClioSport Club Member if you were paid up. either way, you can access the guides, there's one in there for problem washers
i'd be interested to know this too as i had it the other day. the keyfob stopped working so i used the key to unlock and it only did the driver door. sorted out the problem with the keyfob and the button unlocks all the doors.
hi, as per title. gap isn't all the way around. should i be able to see daylight between c.50% of the arb and the bush?
if worn, original or powerflex?
these are the inside bushes, not the ends
cheers
If the steering rack is unbolted from the subframe and left to hang on the column and hubs, could it damage the steering?

Ten bhp wont make too much difference on the road. It will have better resale values to offset the additional cost. Just depends what you've got to spend

I think the dephaser pulley gives the cams extra lift, more power higher revs sort of thing. I've heard of these developing problems just after cambelt changes. Personally I would get it done. Its like changing a clutch and not doing the clutch bearing, you could end up with double labour costs...
i think the dogbone is the one you are having changed. the only powerflex engine bush/mount for the clio is the dogbone. is it this one?
if so, the smaller part of the smalle bush goes up against the engine. if the larger part goes against the engine, you get more play = more vibration etc etc
i use to have a problem with my indicators- they were always on. i traced it to water in the alarm system. i cut the alarm wire that goes to the indicator wire (you can get to it just behind the hazard light dash switch) and it fixed the problem.
if you don't want to cut wires, you could get...
if you can hear the pump working and there's water in the bottle, you need to take the pump apart and shave a bit of rubber off the slider inside the pump. relatively straightforward. if this is the case, i'll post up some pics of what you need to do. or there's already a guide if you become a...
