Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
little update. i've since changed to a manual steering rack and it exhibited the same problem. i didn't like it so i put the power steering back in, but this rules out anything to do with the power steering. i've also had a 4 wheel alignment check on the hunter system and everything is coming up green so nothings bent.
this only leaves the universal joints in the steering column which do not show any play, the finest tilt of the steering wheel turns the wheels. or the wishbone bushes or arb bushes. do any of these sound like a culprit?
what are the usual symptoms for worn wishbone and arb bushes?
Re: Steering pulling to the right after gearbox replacement but tracking is spot on??
to be fair it was me that broke the gearbox- all these problems are on the back of that!
but touch wood, this is currently the only problem the cup has.
that and the fact it needs a decat and matched inlets om nom nom
