I'm gonna invest in some additional security but when I browsed Halfords for steering wheel thingies,

What do you use to mask up the area?
How do you join the fibreglass bit to the rest of an enclosure made of mdf ?

A press article like that could well be scheduled in to promote a tv programme / dvd release.
He might have been in Iraq some time ago.
But that said, car / location !? it's most likely to be a look-a-like.
Here's a link to the manual for the Sep00 - Dec04 version.

there's one for "Clio 3" that says up to 2004, and hints that it also works with the built in dash display.
I'm after one for a Pioneer headunit for a 2005 Clio.
I've gone for it.
I checked the small print, rang the company to double check, all seems pretty good for the money.

Don't yet have the car so haven't attempted the install myself yet.
Omex tech support are quite good, so might be worth dropping them an email too.
How well it works with their IB100 iPod interface.
Reading the spec I think it's the ideal replacement for my P99R which has all the EQ, time alignment stuff, but no internal amplification.
I did ask this in the middle of another thread about "wiring an amp" but it'll probably get overlooked,
and as I searched for a few words without sucess,
by me starting a new thread it may be of use to someone else in the future....

I know it used to be important to run power direct from the battery to an amp.
Is that still the case ?
In my current Clio there wasn't anywhere simple to get a cable through from the engine bay to the passenger cabin.
Any advice for a 182 please ?
