Why do you think car insurance is so high for new drivers?

I'm pretty sure it's for a reason and for the insurers own greed.

I can't believe why someone would pay more a year to insure their car than its actually worth!

^ agreed, I pay jus ova a grand for the 172...on the garage policy (Oh how they hate me!) ha. On my own policy with 0 NCB it would cost be ova 2k!!!!! Sod rite off.

fully agree with the last 2 replys! why is it so high..!! and i cant see why is it cheaper 4 me to get insured on a 18. 16v then it is on a 1.2...
