Gave the sheep a long needed clean today, forget how much better the color looks when cleaned and polished. Sadly the car will be up for sale soon (any one interested do feel free to PM me) moving onto a Mk4 Golf TDI although will be sad to see the car go.

Hiya, Currently getting around 200-220 miles p-er tank (£33 currently) in my 1.4 16v (MK2 PH1) Am assuming this is pretty bad, driving is two 13 mile journeys a day plus occasional motorway journeys and town driving.

Have got a program here that needs to be a bootable disc i.e Boot from the disc instead of harddrive when starting up. Does anyone know how to create a bootable disc for xp?

Has the Clio got Hydraulic Tappets, have got terrbile noise coming from the engine. Seems like tappet noise. The car is 2000 Mk2 Ph1 1.4 16V SI

Have a problem with my Mk2 Ph1 1.4. Can't get it to start, can't be the starter motor as can hear it turning. Really dont know where to start looking for the problem?

Got a PH1 172 gearknob and want to fit it to my 2000 PH1. Took the old one off but it has a diffrent style plastic bit that you put the gearknob onto. Whats the best thing to do, take the plastic off and glue it?

Have bought a 1.4 16v it has got a upgraded filter in replace of the original (think it may be a BMC but no 100% sure) The car came with a K&N induction kit would it be worth fitting this along with the uprate air filter?

Am unable to start my car due to the immoblisier kicking in, the key doesnt work so cant de activate the immobiliser. Renault wont give me the immboliser code to dis arm it. Is there any way of getting round this so i can take it to a garage? or anyone who works for renualt albe to get the code...

Hi, Have a problem with my MK1 basically I need the immobiliser code so that I can bypass it. Went to my local Renault dealer and they said that they can not give me MY code because of the 'data protection act' even though it is MINE. I have been advised to ring Renault but was just wondering...

How much Sound deadening in sheet is needed for a MK1 Clio Looking at buying Skinz which comes in 30x30cm sheets so was just wondering how many would need for the front doors? My guess was around 2 sheets per door? Any help would be appreciated.

Am looking to change the lights and the bonnet of my 97/P Mk1 Maxim to the valver bonnet and the headlight as the headlights on the Maxim have more of a round shape to them i assume the new bonnet would not fit straight on. So would the Valver lights be a direct replacement with the old ones...
