True the lines are much better thought out than some of the tsunami and jap rubbish which is popular now, it seems body kits these days focus on adding more hard edges leading to nowhere than a piece of skrunched up newspaper.
But I still think those pointless vents at the back...
Well I'd feel like a boner driving that around town....
If it were mine though..
why oh why do people insist on putting kits on front engined cars with fake rear air scoops on the back arch extensions which go no where, are of no use when the car is not rear engined and when the cars has...
Are you offering??????? :) :) :) :)
No and tbh I dont want to, yet, NOT because I dont like them but because I once drove a 911 turbo and was sick for weeks because I knew it'd be unlightly I'd ever own one or get to experience the awsomeness again :(
Too expensive to produce and less profit because of this. The casing, board, ROM's, lable, manufacture, packaging, carriage (because it weighs more) sourcing all the parts from seperate companies to bring together for production is all going to cost more than a little shiney disk with a lable...
Being a big fan of old fords and having run and re-built them over the years I can say the capri is a fantasic handling car. Although the 2.8i had leaf srung rear suspension it also had good quality bilstein shocks and the specials and brooklands had lsd's. Infact aston martin even took the...
Christ buddy, if you havent had the experience of even washing two bucket style you should seek some advice before you start getting a rotary anywhere near your car!!!
Have a look around on the detailing world forum for advice or ask someone who knows a bit about this on here. Rich or Ali...
I used some collinte on my windscreen, it rained for the whole 200 miles on my last trip and I didnt use the wipers once on the motorway, after 60mph water just slid right off, does rain x do the same thing but better?
Is this the Megs 240v version of the UDM for the uk? Let us know what you think (performance, loudness, vibrations etc) How much did you pay, if you dont mind me asking?
Yeah i read about a million posts before I went and had the work done. I dont know how the rings fit on, wether they are welded into place or just smacked on. Either way I think the ring is about £30.
I would say if your car has done high miles get a new shaft.
At the end of the day the...
If you do, get them to fit a genuine renault part!! The abs sensor which sits abouve the ring sometimes needs to be set up to get a clear reading if it's been boshed by the split / loose ring, it's a daft measurment aswell (set to fractions of a mm) so i'd be suprised if you can do it by eye...
That one looks like a cracker, the old guy must have really looked after it.
I went on holiday to barmouth years ago and in one of the holiday camping sites an older chap had his Raider, in mint condition, parked next to his caravan. I remeber looking at it and thinking how nice it was to see...

Ok I'm wrong!! :) it was a turbo 2 with the turbo 1 kit attached to it by the looks of things. ooh and I found a wiki link with better info than my last post for all you old skool fans.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_5_Turbo
Lovely car, I think for a mint one that is a fair price.
The thing is there are the 5 Maxi, Turbo 1, and Turbo 2. The turbo 2 is something like 140-160 bhp (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the Turbo 1, which the rally versions were based on, went from 180bhp to about 300 odd in Maxi form...
They are both superb, if they were mine I'd be inclined to put the rear lights back to standard on them.
I'd love to have that choice sat on my drive, having either car would be great, having both is a bonus!
I agree with everyone else here, get the clutch done. Some fitters will come and do the work at your house unless you can limp to a garage.
I would imagine the thing putting many people off is that they can't drive the car properly to find out what it is like let alone get it home without a...
I'm a massive fan of mustangs and have always appreciated the older imprezas however for $40k it'd be the mustang everytime regardless of which is the better performer.
I don't know what the stylists at subaru were thinking when they designed the new impretza, but I am not impressed.
As so far as 0-60 I'm not fussed about that. I don't own one by the way.
Imo it is the type of car you buy when you fully know that for the money you could get something quicker and better handling but are prepared to make a few small sacrifices becuase of the way it makes you feel.
The 197...
Check the service history. The major service that should have been done is the cam-belt at 72,000 miles. If this has been done then you've saved yourself a fair bit of money if not it could go, major gamble. Always choose a car with a full service history over one with less miles that hasn't...
Both great examples.
I love the 5, I'd still be interested in getting myself one of these if I could find one that was in this sort of nick (not messed about with). I tried for 6 months to find one before I bought my current car and had no luck.
Personally this is what I have done; If I were you I would just get a cheap car for a couple of years. You'll free up more than £3000 and you wont have to sweat a bucket load when your girlfriend starts learning to drive in it. You need not sacrifice power, I suppose there are plenty of cars for...
haha, That's women for you, top tip; hide things!
You must have gone to the last meet / track day at castle combe then? I missed that one, I should get my arse over there really on the next one.
