a539's are class.. Slightly better than the khumo's i'd say but i had the khumos on track and although they blistered (it was hot) they gripped well! I dont have any others sorry mae.

the hardest bit for a beginner will be setting up ampage and feed rates..

welding is great fun.. and you shouldn't be too bad with burns with mig/tig.. Tig is way better tho, more fun, brighter lights, pretty colours! lol
