I have the D3100 with the 18-55 lense kit, its my first dslr I have found some of the vids on youtube very useful. Regarding the 55-200 lense can some explain in simple terms what the benefits are? Thanks Edit found this which explains.

My megane has just had the dephaser pulley replaced it sounded like a bag of nails from cold star,. not sure if your is the same I think the dephaser pulley is to do with variable valve timing.

Oh and on a different note this guy has some serious skillz. For those of you the remember the megadrive and megacd some may also remember the 32x add-on that slotted into the cartridge slot to give better graphics and sound. Anyhow this was hell of a size when connected up, required 3 plugs...

After doing some research it appears to be a problem due the sync rate of the megadrive which apparently is too low for modern pc monitors to pickup. Found this vid on youtube, read the comments for more info.

Ok just connected both together using ethernet cable and files are transfering at 10.4mb sec, Chris R how come it doesn't transfer at 100mb a sec? if both lan connectors are 100mb?

OK pc to router is 100mb connection and laptop wireless to router is 54mb transfer rate between the two is 1mb, when I connected patch cable I get yellow ! in the connection thing in the taskbar? although it did transfer for a while but then dropped out.
