Yeh mine came out no problem aswell which is what is confusing me, putting it back in is a different sotry though! lolI've took the heatshields off for a last try!
bumper is off, it's just stupid though because it came out easy enough by twisting it, but I can't even twist it now going back in because its catching!
I'm selling my car (182) and replacing my exhaust back to standard. I've only been attempting for about 2 ish hours with no joy
Rear beam is down and car jacked up high as possible, but the standard exhaust is having none of it, keeps getting stuck on the bend where it drops down a little...
Where do people find the places to test this lol
Whenever I'm on the motorway there is traffic police every 500 yards it seems! Rarely go above 80 tbh....
Oh yeh forgot to say, I've got the new style Renault Sport badge to go on. Just waiting for my mate to give me his cardboard for it! Will make the back alot better I think
lol I get off work about 12ish so round then, will no doubt be going and coming several times though......bit of a DIY day tomorrow so Craplins will be on the cards too!
I was going to get rid but decided to keep it so hopefully I can start attending track days etc... and a group of mates are heading to Nurburgring so I'm hoping to go along.
Been toying with the idea of a Carbon bonnet but never seen one a B/G 182 so can't really picture it to justify the money!
I said exactly the same to my mate about the size, it looks tiny!
It's just on apex springs at the mo. Hopefully get coilovers when I've got the spare cash
Lowered 40mm

Just need to get wheels refurbed and a darker colour (hopefully next week). Oh and the f1 sticker is coming off - didn't realise how common it was! lol
Opinions??
My Black/gold 182 is looking a little worse for wear after the winter! Going to spend a full day on it bringing back the shine. Would this be correct in terms of order of the products I am going to use.
Wash
Dry
Autoglym paint renovator (any use?)
Wash

Clay
Wash (AGAIN)

Who cares lol
I average about 25 mpg in my 182 but I'd rather drive it too put a smile on my face than pottering around worrying about filling up again, really don't understand why you'd buy a 2.0L hot hatch and then complain about petrol consumption?!
I'd of bought a DCI if I wanted decent...
To be fair King Kong was awsome quality, alot better than I was expecting. I'm sure they have upped the bandwidth and prob will for the first couple of weeks on the EPG, but then slowly but surely they will start lowering it just like BBC HD did.
You must of took it to a really harsh MOT tester lol
Surely you can sort 1-8 (not sure how easy 1*2 handbrake cables are to sort but on most small cars they are quite an easy job) out quite easily yourself and 9-11 will be sorted by fitting you cat for the MOT.
There any chance this light can come on due to a badly blowing exhaust from the manifold/cat joint? Also just changed my airbox back to standard but surely that couldn't bring a fault light on could it ?
Seems some confusion over what the light actually means.....anyone shed some light please...
Cheers all, followed fubar's PDF guide and it took me about hour and half to change all springs. Only problem was one of the hub bolts, was a hard b*****d and resorted to getting a blow torch out! Possibly one of the easiest jobs I've done to be though fair on my clio. Found my splitter more a...
I took my bumper off fit it as well, was much easier. Just start from the middle with 1 half and work round, bends quite easily.
Don't make my mistake and forget to screw back in the s**t guards underneath, mine dropped down on the motorway yesterday and cracked all the way up....will have to...
