a fully serviced 1.2 8v is pretty quick for what it is though yes there isnt a hope in hell it will beat a sport but when it comes to overtaking / pulling away its got all the power thats needed imo

an inch of the stick goes into the tube but looking at it i cant tell weather i can see the dipstick of a reflection from the torch looks like its a sump off job

no ive looked cant get anything down to try and get it up. tried pliers, knitting needles the lot would it be possible to take the oil filter out and try and poke it up

just had a look and i cant find it in the lil tube holder thing. a mate was helping me servie it early so ill have a word with him and hopefully it snapped and he got it out..............hopefully

for the record i didnt snap it. i pulled it up and it wasnt there

he had no right to :lolup: but seriously just went to check my oil and found the other end of the dipstick is missing. i can only assume the worse has happened and its gone down into the sump. will it be ok (draining oil soon so might be able to retrieve it that way) it shouldnt get into...

just tried to service my car and i cant seem to find a sump key from anywhere (well non of the halfords nr by has one) any ideas (for a mk2 ph1 1.2)
