you will get much better advice pal if you explain the situation more. from what you said people are under the impression that your car is suffering from understeer? so they are asking whether you have budget tires or good quality ones
and you havent said whether this is on the road or track...
definatly go for the interior pal.
im not a massive fan of private reg's and the exhaust can always be done at a later date but at least the car will feel a lot more comfy and modern inside
looks nice pal maybe a little bit too low but the wheels actually suit it.
not a fan of the yellow fogs and tow strap but if thats what you like then fair enough.
Why why why and more why!
Who in their right mind would take a car that is already nice looking and ruin it like this!
I agree I would rather walk than get a lift in that!
It all depends on your budget pal. I wouldn't worry about power unless your planning on chucking between a 1000-2000 pound on it for little power gains.
When I was looking for a RS I knew straight away I wanted a FF 182 so that's what I went for.
And I would worry about value because all of...
from arnold if you know it? what about you? yeah i would like to come down to some meet's, only problem is i work weekends so would only be avaliable in the evenings
so i was out driving through town today when i noticed my service light, abs light and traction light had all come on (guessing this means fault?) so i pulled up switched the car off and back on and the lights disappeared.
rater than ignore it i took it up to the girlfriends dads garage and one...
i was going to progress to the fiesta St then on to my dads mk1 FRS but a few of the lads on the zetec s owners club started buying clios and raving about them so it kind of planted a seed!
cheers pal :) never thought id own a renault tbh ive been into fords since i was younger because i grew up with my uncle and dad owning cosworths and RS models but about a year ago i saw one of these and just fell in love with them!
not at the moment its already got:
Recaro Trendlines
Scorpion RS192 Cat Back Stainless Exhaust System
Eibach Proline Springs
ITG Panel Filter
Brembo High Carbon Discs
Ferrodo DS2500 Pads on Front
Braided Brake Lines all round
Arctic Blue Painted Engine Cover...
wow might do this to mine if its the 'in' thing! lol that is awful im sure some people look at there cars in a totally different way to what others do.
i'd be embarrassed to own something looking like that but hey each to their own i suppose!
so ive had the car just over a week now after having my mk5 zetec s fiesta. such a difference stepping up into this and really happy i decided to get one of these over a fiesta ST.
washed it for thr first time this morning and took a few pics (arent the best as there of my blackberry)...
looks very tidy pal.
my dads got a mk1 running 350 bhp and shed load of boost, its a proper hand full with torgue steer and wheel spin. whats it like running the power youve got?
any future plans for more power or keeping it as it is?
good read up pal ive recently bought a FF 182 clio but did think about the ST170 when looking for a new car. sound like a great little car but im happy i got the clio.
any pictures of said clio?
any future plans for it?
not really a fan of the rat look, probably because i like a car looking immaculate as possible.
but dont mind the euro look if its done properly, and i hate sticker bombing for some reason!
much prefer subtle mods to cars
