Car is currently on 17" alessio monza's
looking for some 16s, this is the set i've been offered so far
on 17s:
and now the 16s i've been offered
Can someone photoshop the above alloys (speedlines) onto my car
what happened after?? police called
was that guy that pulled out insured
I guess it will all go down as his fault,
Have you got witness details etc?? did he apologise and say it was his fault??
hmmm looks like you may be right
I'm still currently winning an xbox harddrive for £1.59 + £2 postage lol
no-ones outbidding me, not too bothered really, might still be worth a try
I'll get the serial no etc tonight and then i'll call them tomorrow to see what they say, if its not...
bugger, wont bid any higher than then £1.59 I already have on a different harddrive then
I thought a different harddrive would work fine if i just swapped them over, I thought it would only get messy if i changed the motherboard
I'll have to get all the serial no.s etc and ring microsoft...
hmmm, i doubt they'd cover it tbh
+ they'd probably want it sent to them, postage costs
then I've opened it now so thats no good, they'll just send it back
I'll try the IDE cable when it comes on weds, if no luck i'll get a new hard drive for £8 off ebay and go from there...
ok got a problem
went to play on my other halfs xbox (old style, clear one) last night
its 15 months old and out of warranty, not been used for about 2 months
anyway
Turned it on and its all good, green xbox thing comes on screen, you then here click click click from the xbox...
bugger
http://www.abacotyres.co.uk/refurb.asp?cookiecheck=yes&
just found this
£29 to repair the bend
too late though, so i'm paying £40 now somewhere else, although not much difference as i'd still need to pay the delivery as i'm not free on a saturday to take it up there
+ a...
coggeshall road, towards braintree, was up there getting a sodding coat for the other half, was dark and raining on national limit road so didn't see the hole
counted as A120 still so its not the council, its highway agency
nowhere can get me one alloy, alessio have said they dont...
bugger bugger bugger
rang the place that said they thought they could get one, they rang the supplier and they are on backorder, no date, could be 2 months to get them in
So I can either send it away to be repaired, no idea how good that fix would be, or I don't know, buy a whole set...
hmmmm just gets worse
the council are not responsible for that area anymore,
The highways agency took it over last year, just rang them asking for claim form, it was reported to braintree council so i guess the highway people can just claim they didn't know about it, typical
getting...
well, quote of £130 including delivery, take up to 7 days, not bad, place called ultimate velocity
no tyre though
or one place will repair it for £50, but i'd need to pay postage there and back so I think i'm going to ring the £130 place and check all details and go with them
fook, got one call back
can't get hold of anything in that size for 2 months minimum
Not impressed at all
going to try more places but its not looking good
going to have fun if I need to get a whole new set of alloys off the council
I did actually fancy some nice 16s but I...
those pics are from a digital camera, are they not good enough???
surely they can't get out of it just because of that, I know the police can but a crappy council
That would mean another 25 mile drive there, a camera, more jumping in and out of that sodding road, hmmmmmmmmm i'll see...
hmmmm so far no luck finding anywhere who can order me one in
Will ring some places later to see if it can be repaired but i'd prefer a new alloy and tyre off the council :-)
pothole is reported, so i'll ring tomorrow for a claim form and to again report it with my own name this time
soo dangerous, its a 60mph road, very busy aswell
cyclists were using the road and had to swerve around it, if a cyclist hits that then they will fall off or wobble and probably fall infront of a car
what a great start to the new year
My alloy was refurbished 2 weeks ago, Friday I went to Braintree in the rain to get a coat for the other half, on the way back it was dark and raining
Hit a big pothole(with the passenger front wheel) and it sounded like a nice inpact with the alloy...
well, he charged the battery for a few hours, and bingo, it started
so either he left something on in the car, or the battery is sh!t
or it was just damp and cold
or the alternator isn't charging it up enough and so it was almost dead anyway and then the cold killed it?
no idea
mates 1995 1.8 8v rsi
battery was replaced 3 months ago
he moved the car at 1am, all was fine
then at 8am, it wouldn't even remote unlock, no power from the battery at all
no lights on the dash
they tried jump leads and got nowhere
bit weird if the batterys dead, I said...
cup, i thought you had a bm
anyway, bad news, it's sooo dangerous at the moment, I think you may struggle with the work thing, they may have it down as if anything happens in the car park full stop, they wont be held responsible, find out asap though before you start going to expensive...
just use a cheap phone for a bit
when i'm inbetween phones i get out the old 3210, sizeof a house but it works
take it you don't have a spare phone??? get a 5110 off ebay for £5 lol
hmm, arch lip has been grinded back already
it's a common pug problem that it rubs just on passenger side
I could get 195/45 R17 tyres on there instead of the 205/40s
as about half way down the tyre wall that gets caught
don't have ppl in the back very often anyway so its not a...
I'm not a huge fan of them tbh, people have said having 16s or 17s feel better on the road
I was tempted to get some standard alloys, but would prefer some nice 16s
Not sure if these would look any good though
