gunk never lets me down
spilt oil on the drive not long ago, it stained, left some gunk on it for 20 minutes, came out and it pretty much all washed away without even scrubbing
Ok, i've done a search, probably not a very good one but thought I'd post to get see if the answers may be different as the cars a bit older than your 172 182's
Its a 1999 Diablo red 306
It's due a polish
I'll be washing with megs gold class shampoo
then I used to use turtle wax...
looks like the damn foreigners tried eating your car, I got hit by a foreigner not too long ago, I was stationary in a car park and he just wheel span into me
Thought i'd post for a change as i own a gti6
Lovely car, imo 3rd gear on the 6 is its most impressive, probably why you had some troubles with one, 3rd and 4th are just perfect, 1st and 2nd are ok but not amazing really
ok I'll give them a try tomorrow, hopefully its not too late to claim seeing as it happened at the start of January
will have to see, they'll prob just send me a nice claim form to fill in, great fun
I spoke to braintree council first and they said that they don't look after the road, the highways agency are in charge of it so I had to try to claim with them
they then passed the claim onto this other firm who are meant to look after it for them etc etc
probably me, legal plate on the rear, not quite soo legal front
small moody b@stard driving
I'm going to ring and just see what he says first
I mean the A120 is huge, so they are easily going to miss potholes, so how can they get out of paying by just saying that didn't see it or...
Council wrote to me and said that they had referred it onto AmeyMouchel, they apparently look after the road for the Highways Agency
I just got this letter from them:
We have conducted a full investigation into the circumstances, we carry out an inspection once a week and did not highlight...
your mad for letting her go, the amount of middle aged women I see who shouldn't be anywhere near the roads is shocking
even a tiny mark and I'd have stopped her until I had her details and her insurance details, if she refused I would have rang the police and stood infront of her car
cheers
not 100% on them yet
I get a slight rubbing with 2 people in the back on the 17s, arch has been ground back already
+ my 17s are heavy and these 16s are very light
£280 though
After a bracket that goes near a rear caliper
it's to fit a 1995 1.8 8v rsi
I'm pretty sure the 16v would fit it aswell
Does anyone know what i'm on about, the garage have said the car needs a bracket, which goes near or connects to the rear caliper
I can't think what it is...
apparently it needs a new rear sub axel aswell
what the hells that, cost wise??
any idea's, I'm guessing its just the main bit around there that holds it all together
alloy didn't look too bad tbh, caught the back of a spoke and took a slight chunk out of it but nothing major
will have to check its not bent at all though
So far been quoted £40 for a used rear caliper, including delivery
Ok
my mate now had my 1.8 8v rsi
1995
he was driving along, then the rear drivers wheel just locked up, he heard a loud bang just as it happened
I got there and his rear disc was snapped in two, then brake pads were all over the place, and the caliper was kind of jammed in his alloy...
