ESP only steps im when your in trouble, or one of the wheels is spining. When it steps in to help out, the light will flash on the dash, indicating its stepped in. As iceblue182 says, its probably in your mind, the ESP will only come on if your really thrashing it, not in usual day to day driving.

The Cup doesnt have ESP, your right foot does that job. Ive never had any moment in my 9months with the Cup when ive thought, man i wish id had ESP on then.

IMHO that looks pretty dull, dont like the look of any of the Blaupunkts, i used to have one, i got it because it was on offer at the time, but i was never super impressed with it, although it wasnt top of the range. It sounded very good, just looked plain.
