Hello all,
As above, just got my 172 but have an exhaust related question....
The previous owner had the rear box and centre section replaced with standard (Apparently) parts, however its chuffin loud! I have had a butchers underneath and it all looks stock to me but it sure dont sound it...
new rocker cover.
second hand magnex rear box.
new coolant header tank.
a damn good clean
new toyo proxes all round
next up is the body shop to sort a rotten sil and do the arches, and to strip and paint some other bits and bobs.
i went from a 342bhp 200sx t plate worth £6000 costing me £789 fully comp
to a williams worth 2-3k that was going to cost the same!!! so i asked how to bring it down - her answer was to modify it a bit!!!
so i did!!!!!
my williams 2 was going to cost me £780 comp with flux, declared it as modified "exhaust and filter" and it came down to £589.40
aged 24 three years ncb - 3 points.
from what i can see, a previous owner has jacked it up just passed the jacking point - denting the sill and lifting the paint - thus causing a pocket for water and general crap!
so hopefully, garage to weld in new bit - bit of filler then some thick hamourite over the lot and some waxoil...
ok i've now got a williams 2, owned it for a week and am now sorting the little nigles that it keeps throwing at me.
this being the main one!!!!
not sure how bad this is? and how easy to fix?
passenger side is fine not a mark on it.
am near peterborough, anyone know anywhere?
any of you considered www.ultraleds.co.uk ;)
not sure of the legality but with some imagination and careful locating the effects can be amazing!!
