Spotted a silver Clio @ SRS in nuneaton, I dropped off my 172 for diagnostics so I can get her sorted and on the way out this silver one was parked up close! Here is a pic Ofc mines the black one, but for some reason the silver looks more slick? Although it needs a clean ;)

Well, driven 104 miles so far, and am on the notch below half a tank. I was expecting at least 350-400 miles from a tank full tbh

Will that sensor being faulty cause the car to drink all that petrol?? They should be covered under the warranty so may get them replaced as well when it goes in for stuff

No its not. Im actually trying to drive nicely. On the motorway @ 70Mph with Cruise control on its doing 32Mpg. I was under the impression it would do around 45+ In town its always Very low 20's or mid teens if there is traffic. Taking it to a Renault Specialist soon for a complete health...

my wife thinks my 172 is a crap POS cus its broken Its also "Too loud, Too Bumpy, Rattles and uses too much petrol" And to top it all off the satnav bouncing on its mount makes her feel sick lol

Mine has drunk over half a tank over 80 miles..... Mpg reads 25 and sometimes 18 lol Mines feked!

Mine also doesn't give out hot air in the car so may be various things. Thinking I will just get a garage to diagnose these 3 issues and fix them. Then sue the dealer lol

Did your coolant flow currently before that? Mine only ever trickles. Dunno if I need a new thermostat or coolant sensor because of that issue. Then again the whole fan not working leads me to think it's the coolant sensor! Might just replace them both tbh

I think it may be a thermostat stuck mostly closed? As top rad pipe is HOT HOT HOT. Actually most of the coolant pipes are Damn hot to touch. It's around £55 for a new temp sensor and thermostat from renault. Would it be a good idea to replace them both? Or do the cheaper ones from say amazon...

Also when I stop after a run around dropping mates off the coolant is flowing but very slowly. Like a trickle

Hey. Two issues that need sorting on my 172. First is the coolant sensor, I have a feeling it's broken as my fan doesn't come on too cool the engine but works with ac on. Second is the heater. Just pushes cold air ;( Any ideas where the sensor is so I can replace it? Also what needs...

How did u fix it? Mine only works when ac is engaged.
