swirl marks are cause by cleaning/polishing with non-clean products such as sponges and cloths, the slightest bit of grit or anyhting with scratch the top layer of laquer. always use a super clean bucket, once ya use ya sponge wash it through and put it straight into a plastic bag. maybe...
