Re: Can you damage alloy why replacing a tyre?
Cheers Daz, is it worth me complaining then, I can't prove it. Peed me off because he must have known when he did it, t**t.
Had my front tyres replaced this morning for the first time. Car is 4 years old and 13,000 on the clock.
Now I only use the car back and to to work so I park in the garage at home and car park at work. I dont park by kerbs.
Yet just put my car away now and noticed one of the alloys looks...
yes, let me know too, Whitchurch not too far for me.
By the way can anybody recommend some tyres. Quoted £72 each for the Conti's but difficult to get hold of at the moment.
I've got my 2nd MOT due in 3 weeks and I can't find replacement tyres. I still have the original conti's and would prefer the same as the rear are only half worn. Everybody seems to be out of stock.
I have a 53 172 just coming up to it's 4th birthday so it's due it's 24,000 service. The actual mileage is 13,000.
If I just go for the normal service will I have to go back next year for another service plus aux and cam change or can I just have the belts changed?
Thanks
Good news is it's my birthday in a couple of weeks and my good lady has said she will buy me a satnav.
The only problem is the clio windscreen.
I know you can get external aerials but I was hoping for a set up like the road angel where the aerial can sit on the rear parcel shelf.
I've...
mine is for it's first service right now (2 years), only done 7K miles. Just phoned me to say pollen filter is due for changing, is this correct???
I said yes anyway.
Any ideas please? I pull the stalk back and nothing, not even the sound of the motor.
The headlamp washers work though.
Looked in the manual for a listing of fuses and it only states one for the headlamp washers and not the windscreen washer.
Thanks

Can anybody confirm that the AA cover with Renault is a full one for 3 years.
I know my partner got caught out with Vauxhall as the homestart was only included for the first year.
Cheers
